At Inspired By Nature, our organic cotton children’s pyjamas are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton — naturally soft, breathable and comfortable against delicate skin.
For children with sensitive or eczema-prone skin, choosing gentle, breathable fabrics can be particularly important.
Skin, sleep & fabric
Our skin helps regulate body temperature, and during sleep children can naturally become warm or sweaty.
Breathable natural fibres such as cotton allow air to circulate and help moisture move away from the skin. This can create a more comfortable sleep environment, particularly for children who are prone to overheating, sweating or sensitive skin.
Some synthetic fibres, such as polyester, are less breathable and can retain more heat and moisture close to the body.
That's why fabric choice matters — especially when it's being worn for hours at a time.
Why we choose organic cotton
We created our organic kids pyjamas using cotton because of the way it feels and performs against the skin.
Organic cotton is naturally soft, breathable and comfortable. It allows air to move through the fabric rather than creating the warm, enclosed feeling that can occur with some synthetic sleepwear.
For children with delicate or sensitive skin, simplicity can be a beautiful thing.

Sensitive & eczema-prone skin
Children with eczema or sensitive skin can be particularly affected by heat, sweat and fabrics that feel rough or irritating.
Soft cotton is commonly recommended for eczema-prone skin because it is breathable and gentle against the body.
Our organic cotton pajamas aren't designed to treat eczema or other skin conditions. Instead, they're designed to provide a soft, breathable layer against the skin and help children feel comfortable while they sleep.
Why GOTS-certified organic cotton?
Not all cotton is created in the same way.

The Global Organic Textile Standard considers more than how cotton is grown. It also sets strict environmental and chemical requirements throughout textile processing, including restrictions on certain dyes, finishes and chemicals.
